Dear brothers, respected teachers, beloved parents and other dignitaries. In this special occasion of this merciful month Rabi'ul Awwal, I'm extremely pleased and blessed to stand in front of you with some sweet words about love of our Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم .
As we are Muslims, it's necessary to know about our beloved Prophet, the last Messenger of Allah, Muhammad صلي الله عليه وسلم, follow his values in our all walks of life and love him more than anything in this world. Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
لا يؤمن أحدكم حتي أكون أحب إليه من ولده و والده والناس أجمعين.
"None of you truly believes until I'm more beloved to him than his child, his father and all the people."
It's clear now that we should love him. Now the question is that how we can love him? The answer is simple that we should live according to paths showed by Prophet Muhammad to get perfect love of him.
We can find perfect examples of love towards Prophet in the life stories of his companions.
One of them was Khubaib رضي الله عنه. When he was drug to gallows, he was asked that what would he react if his Prophet was replaced in his place? His answer was so thrilling that the enemies were shocked. He said that he can't tolerate even a thorn hurts Prophet Muhammad.
It is clear that how his companions loved him. In this month of Rabi'ul Awwal, we should study and know about his life and values perfectly. May Allah bless us. Amen.
